Account and support

Use the account that owns the post, payment or conversation you need help with.

Sign-in problems

Use sign-in or password-recovery options shown. If a provider or account service is unavailable, keep unsaved work and use the available recovery path. On the website, an incomplete password request releases its pending state and keeps your details while the form stays open. Use the available retry deliberately; repeatedly submitting while it is pending does not help. An account-service failure is different from an incorrect email or password. Do not share a password or sign-in code with someone claiming to help. In the app, returning to one of your posts after sign-in keeps its destination pending until that screen opens. If a warning asks whether to keep editing, keeping your changes does not forget the destination. The same return does not automatically reopen that warning. While the requested screen is still waiting to open, Try again checks that original return without sending a second navigation request. After you choose to keep editing, Continue deliberately retries the paused return. An uncertain return does not repeat sign-in or save the post.

Profile and settings

Expand Account in your account menu and choose Profile to edit it. View as public opens the public page. Expand More for Settings and available preferences. Review your public profile before saving changes. If the website cannot check Profile or Settings, use Check account again. An interrupted check does not by itself mean your account changed. Keep the form open: a fresh check of the same account preserves unsaved fields in that form. Checking again does not repeat Save or confirm an earlier update. If the screen reports that your sign-in changed, follow its reload instruction. A display preference does not convert a post price or change who can read a private conversation. Language describes the current interface, not a claim that the site has been translated. Currency and distance units follow the website’s current default country. If those values cannot be checked, they stay unavailable and the default-distance chooser is withheld. Reload page reads them again; it does not repeat a save. Finish or resolve unsent changes before using it. In the app’s profile form, enter a full international phone number and review it before saving. Your device may offer telephone autofill. Choosing a number does not turn on its public visibility; review the separate visibility control. For an app profile photo change, wait for the pending attempt to finish before choosing another photo or saving other profile changes. A network error does not confirm that the photo changed. A photo awaiting review is not yet approved. In the same running app, leaving and reopening Profile does not restart a pending profile change. Its change controls wait for the original operation to finish and the profile to be checked. Do not assume unsaved profile text will be restored after closing the app. If saving profile changes reports a network error, keep your text and do not assume the update failed or was confirmed. Returning to Profile checks its data without repeating Save.

Privacy, export and closure

Read account settings and privacy/deletion guidance before requesting export or closure. Follow the confirmation for your request. Signing out does not delete your account, and an unconfirmed closure is not completed. In the app, if you leave the screen or put the app in the background before sharing opens, that attempt will not open a share sheet later. Returning does not restart it. Wait for any pending attempt to finish, then request another export. Once the device share sheet is open, use its own controls.

Get help

Open the relevant request

Expand More in your account menu and choose Support, or open Support from your dashboard. Include the post or payment reference if relevant. If new requests are unavailable, use contact options actually shown on Contact and support. An unavailable reader does not mean an earlier request was deleted.

Check before sending again

For an uncertain request or reply, check its original send status. Keep the text and reference. Starting another request can create a duplicate rather than recover the first.

Share only what is needed

Describe the task, what you expected and what the screen said. Use a reference rather than someone else’s private information. Never include passwords, full card numbers or sign-in codes.
