The service

PoundPost provides a place to publish posts and contact other people. Buyers and sellers arrange the exchange, inspect the item and agree payment themselves. PoundPost is not a party to that trade and does not hold the purchase money.

Your account and your posts

Keep your sign-in details secure. Only post content you have the right to share and items you are entitled to offer. Describe the item and its condition accurately, use the right category and follow the Rules. Do not impersonate someone, misuse another person’s information or interfere with the service.

Permission to display your content

You keep your rights in the content you upload. You give PoundPost permission to store, copy, format and display it as needed to provide the service, including showing your public posts to other people and delivering messages to their recipients.

Paid features

The price, currency and duration are shown before you pay. Publishing a post or buying a boost does not guarantee a sale, a reply or a particular number of views. Check the price and the post before confirming payment. Contact support about a payment problem or refund. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer law gives you.

Keeping the board safe

We can remove posts or restrict accounts for breaking the Rules, unlawful activity or misuse of the service. You can report a post or conversation and contact support about a moderation decision. Do not use PoundPost to sell prohibited or stolen goods, threaten people or commit fraud.

Leaving PoundPost

You can delete your account from Settings or the Account deletion page. Read that page before continuing. It explains the seven-day cancellation window, what deletion removes and which records may need to stay.
