Posting and managing

Check the details, saved state and publishing outcome separately.

Prepare your post

Work with your draft

Use the same signed-in account when returning to a saved draft. A draft is not a live post. Check save feedback before leaving; do not assume unsent text or selected files have been saved. If a copy is not confirmed, keep the dashboard open. Duplicate and Discard stay locked for that draft in that dashboard; other drafts stay available. While a draft action is still running, wait for it to settle before refreshing the list. Closing or reloading does not cancel the original request.

Category, description and price

Choose the closest category and complete the fields shown for it. On the website, Back in the category picker returns to the main categories; Close keeps the category you already had. Escape returns one level, then closes the picker. Browsing a category does not change your draft until you choose a subcategory. In the app, Back returns to the main categories and Cancel keeps your existing category and answers. Choosing the same category also keeps those answers. Choosing a different category clears category-specific answers, while your title, description, photos and price stay in the draft. Check the fields shown for the new category. In a web browser, Tab enters a persistent single-choice group once; arrow keys move and select, and Space selects the focused answer. Choosing an already-selected answer keeps it. In the app, longer lists can be searched or expanded. Searching narrows the options without changing your answer. Clear the search to see the other options again. Use Show more options or Show fewer options to expand or shorten an unfiltered list. Multiple-choice answers can be selected independently. Use Clear answer to remove an optional condition or other optional single-choice answer. With a web keyboard, clearing an optional answer returns focus to its search field, or to the first choice when there is no search field. Category choices are buttons: Enter or Space confirms one; arrows do not confirm a category. Check the price mode, amount and currency. Free and price-on-application are different from a fixed amount. Follow the validation beside each field rather than putting the price only in the description.

Photos and location

Follow the photo types, size and count limits shown in the composer. Review order and cover photo. Keep the screen open while an upload is unresolved. Choose an approximate area, not a private meeting address.

Publish and manage

Review before confirming

Check the post and displayed platform charge or credit use. A saved draft, payment attempt and published post are different outcomes. Read the result: a post awaiting review is not yet live.

If confirmation is missing

Do not start another payment or duplicate post to work around an uncertain result. Use the status or recovery action shown for the original attempt. Keep its reference for support.

Manage the original post

Open My posts and use actions available for its current state. On the website, swipe or drag the status row to reveal more views; hold briefly before dragging to choose a view on release. Keyboard users can use arrows, Home and End. Its list and CSV export keep each post’s original currency and amount; changing your viewing country does not convert them. Review edits before saving. Mark an item sold when no longer available. Pause, delete, renew and boost have different effects; read each confirmation before proceeding.

Renewal settings

Do not assume a post renews automatically. Only rely on a setting available for that post after deliberately confirming its terms. Reading help is not a renewal or purchase confirmation.

Read your stats

Choose 7, 30 or 90 days for views, unique daily viewers and Spend. On the website, tap a range or hold briefly and drag, then release to choose it. Range links also work with the keyboard and can be opened in another tab. Back returns to the previous range. Daily viewer totals can count a returning person on more than one day. Spend keeps successful payments separate by their original currency; it does not convert them. Post-by-post figures and boost comparisons keep their own labelled periods. A failed read is not an empty account. Use the recovery action shown, and open Payments for individual records and receipts.
